I am officially in college.

Today was my first day of college.

I woke up this morning so nervous, my heart was racing and i felt like I was going to be late (even though i got there 10 minutes before class even started). Well I had asked a lot of my friends to pray for me as the I went to school today and to help calm my nerves. Friends are the best with advice in situations like this.

So i get there and i was thankful that i had taken the tour a couple days before, or i would have been lost. With my nerves the way they were, it would not have been good.

I walked into my first class and i felt like a little kid again. Shy, not knowing what i am supposed to be doing, scared, and probably lots more... You could just fill in the air that it was everybody's first day in college. Well, Pro. Lou Christian comes in and she is a really sweet, upbeat lady that loves to smile. That helped eased the nerves that were growing inside my stomach. After an hour of going over the rules, regulations, and the introductions we were released early to our next class. I liked that idea.

As i was walking to my next class... i saw some people that had graduated with and a lot of new faces. As i was turning a corner, i saw my best friend NICOLE. I was so excited to see her. We have been friends for some time now and have had a lot of classes together in the past.

She gave me a huge hug and we were able to talk for a good 30 minutes before we had to go to our seperate classes. Our second class is right next to each other. I was excited. That seriously made my day when i saw her. I felt like i was in high school again. I screamed when i found out that we will be going to school on the same days. Just knowing that your best friend is there, made me feel absolutly wonderful. We parted and went our separate ways.

After i saw nicole, i wasn't nervous anymore and i wasn't scared or shy. I went to my next several classes with the feeling that i had didn't have to worry about anything.

I laughed and had a great time, meeting everybody in my classes. I went home for lunch and told my mom, how excited i was to see nicole and how i was actually excited for college.

After lunch, i had two more classes and i had some more people in those classes that i had known. Which really helped.

It ended up being a great day for me.

Thank you all who prayed for me. i really appreciate it.

Well i am going to bed. I have homework that will have to be done before thursday. I will write back later.

have a great night.
